What is DiamondHacks?
Before we embark on our grand heist, let me tell you a bit about DiamondHacks, a thrilling 36-hour hackathon heist organized by the Association for Computing Machinery at UCSD. Get ready for an adventure where some of the sharpest minds from universities all over San Diego gather to join our quest.
There will be hundreds of hackers teaming up to devise projects that showcase their skills and cunning. You’ll have the chance to choose different creative tracks and attend workshops led by fellow hackers to sharpen your tech prowess. There’ll also be social events where we can plot our next moves, forge alliances with other talented outlaws, and snatch some loot.

A hackathon is an event where hackers come together to collaborate, create, and develop projects within a set timeframe (usually 24–48 hours). Participants form teams to brainstorm ideas, write code, and build solutions, with a focus on innovation and creativity.

No, hackers of any experience levels are welcome! We'll have workshops and mentors to help you get started, and beginners have the chance to win prizes specifically for first time hackers.

DiamondHacks will be hosted at UC San Diego, in the Computer Science & Engineering Buildings, as well as Jacobs Hall.

Any undergraduate students enrolled in any college or university are eligible to attend!
